What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. It is used to remember information, such as your preferences, or to measure traffic to the site.

Our approach

Without your consent, we only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. Audience measurement cookies are set, and the related script is loaded, only after you have given your consent. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and your choice is kept for 6 months before you are asked again.

The site uses no advertising or social media cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain: displaying them sends no request to any third party.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessaryNo consent required

Essential for the site to work, such as remembering your cookie or display theme choices. They cannot be switched off.

Help us understand how the site is used (pages viewed, journeys) so that we can improve it. Statistics are produced with Matomo, an open-source solution, and are never used for advertising.

Change or withdraw your consent

You can change your mind at any time using the “Manage my cookies” button above or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawing your consent deletes the audience measurement cookies. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies.
